Denise Martin’s Fabulous Bread Machine Bread Recipe

Heat one cup of water
Into the large Pyrex measuring vessel, place:
1 tablespoon of powdered milk
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon of salt
Two heaping table spoons of gluten flour
2 tsp. flax seed meal
Enough white and wheat flour (ratio is up to you) to fill the Pyrex up to 3
cups. Set aside.
In the bread bucket, generously grease the bottom and mixing blade, and
sides too a little.
Pour 1 tablespoon honey in bottom of the bucket.
Dump the warm water (make sure it’s not too hot or it will kill the yeast).
Dump the flour and dry ingredients on top of the water.
Make a small “well” in the middle of the flour you just dumped in, and put 2
tsp. yeast there.
Put small chunks of butter on all 4 corners of the bucket on top of the
flour.
Put the bucket in the bread machine, and turn it so it locks in place.
Select the “wheat bread” button. Enter how many hours you want until it is
done (needs a minimum of 3-3/4 hours, I think).

PUSH THE “ON” BUTTON, OR IT WON’T EVER START!
