US delegation visits “Deltaworks” in Netherlands Neeltje Jans (ANP)- A large American delegation guided by Mary Landrieu, senator from the state of Louisiana, will visit next month (Dec 2005 red.) for studying the Deltaworks in the province Zeeland of the Netherlands. The delegation consists out of twenty to thirty Democrats and Republican politicians, representatives from economic departements, engineers and environmental specialists. The delegation hopes to find solutions from the Netherlands with regard to waterworks to prevent cities like New Orleans from future disasters with the floodings like there were with Katrina, Rita and Wilma.
